Preview Napoli vs AC Milan

The central match of Serie A Round 8 is surely Napoli vs AC Milan.

The current Serie A season is set to be the best one in recent years, with no clear favorite on the scene.

The top 8 teams in the standings are separated by mere 4 points! Crucially, all “top” 7 clubs of Italy are in this top 8, with seasons dark horse Sassuolo topping the league with 18 points (5W 3D 0L).

Napoli and AC Milan are occupying 2nd and 6th place respectively. The latter having the chance today to reclaim the lead of the table. On the other hand, if Napoli wins, they will draw level with AS Roma and AC Milan for 2,3,4 positions. Yes, it’s that close!

All top teams except Atalanta secured crucial 3 points in this 8th round, Napoli – AC Milan being the last one of the weekend, puts extra pressure on both teams.

Analysis Napoli vs AC Milan

Let’s start with missing players.

Napoli Missing Players:
E. Hysaj (Illness)
V. Osimhen (Arm Injury)
A. Rrahmani (Illness)

AC Milan Missing Players:
R. Leao (Thigh Injury)
M. Musacchio (Muscle Injury)

Fortunately for the viewers, no crucial figure on either team will be missing today’s match. Although it has to be said that Milan is missing more important players overall (in the form of Rafael Leao)

Both teams are coming in hot for this match-up. Bookmakers slightly favor the Napoli side though:
2.20 @ Napoli to win
3.50 @ Draw
3.20 @ AC Milan to win
(source: www.bwin.com as of 22.11.2020 18:00 CET)

A significant 13 of the last 15 games in Napoli’s current streak of competitive fixtures won/lost have favored the opening scorers. Within that sequence, the same can be said about ten of Napoli’s last 11 league matches, and the average win/loss margin across those 11 games stands at 2.27 goals.

AC Milan remains unbeaten in the league (home/away) since the end of last season’s COVID-enforced hiatus (W14, D5). Eleven of those wins came via a 2+ goal margin, while eight of the last nine wins therein saw Milan lead at HT by one goal. In turn, Milan boasts an impressive 73.33% rate of HT/FT doubles across their last 15 SA wins

Players to watch

Napoli’s Dries Mertens is a prime threat, seeing half of his last six SA home goals open the scoring inside the first 15 minutes.

The “GOD” Zlatan Ibrahimović accounts for three of Milan’s last four SA away openers to arrive inside the first 20 minutes of play. He has averaged 1.0 first-half goals across the Rossoneri’s last six away league victories.

Fun Fact: The two ‘players to watch’ have notched a combined total of 155 SA goals for their respective current clubs, with over a quarter (28.39%) proving decisive in victory.

AC Milan’s unbeaten run (since March 2020) has ended with somewhat of an embarrassing loss against Lille OSC, 0-3 at home on San Siro.

With this win, Lille takes the lead of Group H in the Europa League with 7 points (2W 1D) with AC Milan right behind with 6 points (2W 1L).

This being said, the run had to end at some point, and what better time than the Europa League group stage, so there are positives to take from this loss, although a little bit more competitiveness would not hurt.

It has to be said that the first 2 goals were results of fatal errors by arguably two of the most dependable players of the team, team captain A. Romagnoli and team goalkeeper G. Donnarumma. Romagnoli conceded a ridiculously unnecessary penalty in the first half of the game, while Donnaruma made a newbie mistake and conceded a not so threatening long-range effort by Y. Yazici (who scored all 3 goals, kudos.). Romagnoli’s poor form since his return from an injury is becoming quite worrying (for me at least). I hope el Capitano will get through this slump and we will soon see the leader and a wall in defense with which we all fell in love with.

In the meantime, I think this loss does not make Milan’s current form any worse (necessarily). And the hopes for the season run still very high.

Current Serie A leaders will face Verona at home on San Siro on the 8th of November.

Forza Milan!

CDC (Crypto.Com) disappointing its users (including me) has become a trend in the past few weeks.

Their (drastic) changes in ToS without any heads up to users have annoyed quite a few of them to a level that some people are leaving CDC altogether (source: Reddit user posts :)).

The latest update has to do with the feature that probably attracts most of the users to CDC. The MCO Visa Card cashback.

Originally, users were getting cashback on ANY Visa spending. However, the latest update to ToS limits its usage somewhat significantly.

See the official support article: https://help.crypto.com/en/articles/4597450-restriction-of-cro-rewards-programme

This comes as another big blow to the community. Which makes me reconsider future moves when it comes to managing my crypto assets.

However, CDC still offers some of the best features out there and I really hope they get it together again.

In this tutorial we will create a clickable HTML5 image map, representing the world map with “on hover” showing the location names and colours. You can see the final product demo right here: http://mymancave.org/demos/image-map.html

This is done in pure HTML with a touch of JS for selecting images to change on mouse hover.

First of all, lets take a look at the code, and then I’ll try to walk through a little bit.

Source Code on Gist

Now to explain what is going on here a little bit.

The relationship between the “default” image and the map, is created on line 30-31 using the “usemap” attribute for the image.

The default image is just a layout, or drawing if you will, of world map. With on mouse hover will be the continents shown and highlighted.

The map has multiple Poly Areas representing the continents. The marking of the areas is done using image-map.net website. Similarly, this step could be done much simpler, using “rect” area types, but I wanted to be as precise as possible.

Finally, we need on mouser over and out events for our HTML5 image map.

Each area has onmouseover and onmouseout events. Which are responsible for changing images on hover. And this is where the simple JS function written in the head section comes into play. So, basically onmouseover we are loading a new, corresponding image for that area, replacing the default, empty image, and onmouseout will takes us back to the default image.

Each continent has its own area, onmouse events and images, with the same logic.

There are various ways you can concatenate two cells in MS Excel. The one we are going to take a look at today is going to be the concatenate operator “&”. The way it works is really simple, all you need to do is type the cell addresses and in-between the operator “&”. Like so: A1&B1. Of course you should not forget the “=” operator telling Excel that this is a formula, like so: =A1&B1. See the real life example in the following screenshot:

This will work for any pair of cells, they do not have to be adjacent.

In the example above the cell contained convenient information to be concatenated and produce a new word that makes sense. However, if you had two separate words or sentences in each of the cells, you would most likely need to put a space or a comma in between. To do so you only need to add in-between the cells whatever data you want to be added in the quote marks: =A1&" "&B1. This will produce a space in-between the two data from the cells. See the example in the screenshot below:

You can the same way add a comma or even a new word/sentence. Like so:

And this concludes the simple tutorial of how to concatenate cells in MS Excel.

*Important Note: You can use this method to any amount of cells at once, i.e you can concatenate as many cells as you want eg: A1&B1&C1 … etc.

Default

This is a paragraph. It should not have any alignment of any kind. It should just flow like you would normally expect. Nothing fancy. Just straight up text, free flowing, with love. Completely neutral and not picking a side or sitting on the fence. It just is. It just freaking is. It likes where it is. It does not feel compelled to pick a side. Leave him be. It will just be better that way. Trust me.

Left Align

This is a paragraph. It is left aligned. Because of this, it is a bit more liberal in it’s views. It’s favorite color is green. Left align tends to be more eco-friendly, but it provides no concrete evidence that it really is. Even though it likes share the wealth evenly, it leaves the equal distribution up to justified alignment.

Center Align

This is a paragraph. It is center aligned. Center is, but nature, a fence sitter. A flip flopper. It has a difficult time making up its mind. It wants to pick a side. Really, it does. It has the best intentions, but it tends to complicate matters more than help. The best you can do is try to win it over and hope for the best. I hear center align does take bribes.

Right Align

This is a paragraph. It is right aligned. It is a bit more conservative in it’s views. It’s prefers to not be told what to do or how to do it. Right align totally owns a slew of guns and loves to head to the range for some practice. Which is cool and all. I mean, it’s a pretty good shot from at least four or five football fields away. Dead on. So boss.

Justify Align

This is a paragraph. It is justify aligned. It gets really mad when people associate it with Justin Timberlake. Typically, justified is pretty straight laced. It likes everything to be in it’s place and not all cattywampus like the rest of the aligns. I am not saying that makes it better than the rest of the aligns, but it does tend to put off more of an elitist attitude.

Welcome to image alignment! The best way to demonstrate the ebb and flow of the various image positioning options is to nestle them snuggly among an ocean of words. Grab a paddle and let’s get started.

On the topic of alignment, it should be noted that users can choose from the options of NoneLeftRight, and Center. In addition, they also get the options of ThumbnailMediumLarge & Fullsize.

Image Alignment 580x300

The image above happens to be centered.

Image Alignment 150x150The rest of this paragraph is filler for the sake of seeing the text wrap around the 150×150 image, which is left aligned.

As you can see the should be some space above, below, and to the right of the image. The text should not be creeping on the image. Creeping is just not right. Images need breathing room too. Let them speak like you words. Let them do their jobs without any hassle from the text. In about one more sentence here, we’ll see that the text moves from the right of the image down below the image in seamless transition. Again, letting the do it’s thang. Mission accomplished!

And now for a massively large image. It also has no alignment.

Image Alignment 1200x400

The image above, though 1200px wide, should not overflow the content area. It should remain contained with no visible disruption to the flow of content.

Image Alignment 300x200

And now we’re going to shift things to the right align. Again, there should be plenty of room above, below, and to the left of the image. Just look at him there… Hey guy! Way to rock that right side. I don’t care what the left aligned image says, you look great. Don’t let anyone else tell you differently.

In just a bit here, you should see the text start to wrap below the right aligned image and settle in nicely. There should still be plenty of room and everything should be sitting pretty. Yeah… Just like that. It never felt so good to be right.

And just when you thought we were done, we’re going to do them all over again with captions!

Image Alignment 580x300
Look at 580×300 getting some caption love.

The image above happens to be centered. The caption also has a link in it, just to see if it does anything funky.

Image Alignment 150x150
Itty-bitty caption.

The rest of this paragraph is filler for the sake of seeing the text wrap around the 150×150 image, which is left aligned.

Massive image comment for your eyeballs.

The image above, though 1200px wide, should not overflow the content area. It should remain contained with no visible disruption to the flow of content.

Image Alignment 300x200
Feels good to be right all the time.

And that’s a wrap, yo! You survived the tumultuous waters of alignment. Image alignment achievement unlocked!
